PRIVACYVERKLARING

Als je een reis bij me
boekt worden ten behoeve van de organisatie daarvan persoonlijke gegevens
verwerkt. Je kunt daarbij denken aan bv. je geboortedatum en geboorteplaats, je
paspoortfoto, je (e-mail)adres.
Als je reisadvies van me
afneemt, raakt je e-mailadres bij mij bekend.
Ik ga met al die gegevens
zorgvuldig om. Hieronder kun je daar in detail over lezen.
GEBRUIK VAN PERSOONSGEGEVENS TEN BEHOEVE VAN DE
UITVOERING VAN REIZEN
Paspoortkopie
Als een binnenlandse vlucht
of treinreis onderdeel uitmaakt van je reis, vraag ik je voorafgaand aan de reis
een kopie van je paspoort
aan te leveren. Die kopie is nodig voor het boeken van de tickets.
Je BSN (burger service
nummer) is daarbij niet essentieel. Je kunt dat op je paspoortkopie onleesbaar
maken.
Tijdens de reis kunnen
paspoortkopieën ook gebruikt worden bij de aanschaf van kaartjes voor openbare
bussen, en bij het inchecken in hotels.
Na afloop van de reis
vernietig ik alle papieren en digitale paspoortkopieën die in mijn bezit zijn.
Visumverklaring
Voor de aanvraag van een
Chinees visum wordt meestal een verklaring opgemaakt door de Chinese
touroperator die betrokken is bij de organisatie van de reis. Die verklaring
bevat (naast de voorgenomen reisroute) een deelnemerslijst met namen,
geboortedata en paspoortnummers. Deze gegevens zijn voor alle deelnemers
zichtbaar, doordat ieder afzonderlijk die verklaring indient bij zijn/haar
visumaanvraag.
Je persoonsgegevens in het land van bestemming
In de meeste landen (en in
ieder geval in China) zijn hotels, openbaarvervoersbedrijven en touroperators
wettelijk verplicht de identiteit van hun klanten te registreren.
Ik heb op deze registratie
geen invloed, noch op het al dan niet bewaren van de geregistreerde gegevens.
Gegevens van je contactpersonen en je reisverzekering
Voorafgaand aan een reis
verzoek ik je een contactpersoon op te geven met wie ik contact op kan nemen als
je iets ernstigs overkomt. Na afloop van de reis vernietig ik zijn/haar naam,
alsmede zijn/haar bereikbaarheidsgegevens.
Tevens vraag ik je om de
gegevens van je reis- en ziektekostenverzekering. Ook deze gegevens worden na
afloop van de reis vernietigd.
E-MAIL EN ADRESSEN
Als je per e-mail met me
correspondeert ga ik ervan uit dat je me toestaat die correspondentie en je
e-mailadres te bewaren.
Per e-mail worden vaak
afspraken gemaakt over een te volgen reisroute, reisvoorwaarden en de uitvoering
van een reis. Reis je onafhankelijk van mij, maar laat je je over je reis wel
door mij adviseren, dan verstrek ik dat advies per e-mail.
Als je na afloop van een
reis aangeeft dat je je e-mailadres uit de correspondentie verwijderd wilt zien,
zal ik daaraan gehoor geven.
Facturen
bevatten altijd je huisadres en/of e-mailadres. Ik ben wettelijk verplicht die
als onderdeel van de bedrijfsadministratie ten minste zeven jaar te bewaren.
DELEN VAN GEGEVENS MET DERDEN
Gegevens worden uitsluitend
met derden gedeeld:
-- indien het voor de
uitvoering van een reis noodzakelijk is (zie de betreffende paragraaf hierboven)
-- indien een calamiteit of
een gerechtelijk bevel dat vereist; je persoonsgegevens worden dan ter
beschikking gesteld van de bevoegde overheidsinstanties
WEBSITE EN COOKIES
Deze website gebruikt geen
cookies zolang je hem passief gebruikt, dat wil zeggen zolang je er slechts
leest en kijkt.
Als je in het menu kiest voor ‘blog’ én bovendien commentaar achter laat onder een
blogpost, dan worden er door de originele WordPress-software,

PRIVACY STATEMENT
If you book
a tour with me, I need some of your personal data for its
organisation.
Think for instance of your place and date of birth, your
passport
photo, your (email) address.
If you ask
me for travel advice, your email address becomes known to me.
I deal
with
these data with the utmost care. Details about this you can
read below.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA FOR THE ORGANISATION OF TOURS
Passport copy
If a domestic flight or train
trip is part of your tour, I ask
you to
send
me a copy of your
passport ahead of the tour. This copy is needed to book
the tickets.
During the tour passport copies can also be
used when buying tickets for public buses, and at check-in in hotels.
After the tour I destroy all paper and digital copies in my possession.
Visa document
To apply for
a Chinese visa, the Chinese tour operator involved in organising the tour usually prepares a document that includes (apart from the planned
itinerary) a list of travelers
with their names, dates of birth and passport
numbers. These data are visible
to all members of the tour group, as each of them has to
supply
this document when applying for
the
visa at a Chinese consulate.
Your personal data in the
country of your destination
In China, as in most other countries, hotels, public
transportation companies and tour operators are required by law
to register the identity of their clients. I have no control over this
registration, nor over the
way and the period of time the registered data are being saved.
Emergency contacts
Before the start of a tour I ask you for
the details of someone to contact in case of emergencies.
After the tour is finished I delete his/her name and
their email and mobile phone number.
I also
ask you
for
the details of your travel and health insurance. These details too I
delete after the tour.
EMAIL AND ADDRESSES
If you
correspond
with me using email I assume you
allow
me to save that correspondence and your email address.
Email is often used to
agree on an itinerary and
terms
of a tour. If you travel independently but use my advice
for your travels, then I provide that
advice
by email.
If after a tour you make it
known
to me you want your email address deleted from
the
correspondence, I will do so.
Invoices
always include your home address and/or email address. I am required by
law to keep them as part of my business administration for at least seven
years.
SHARING OF DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
Data are only shared with third parties:
-- if
it is necessary for the
organisation
and running of a tour (see the section
above)
-- if
a calamity or a court order
requires
me to do so; your personal data will in that case be shared with the
responsible
government institutions
WEBSITE AND COOKIES
This website does not use cookies as long as you use it
passively,
that is as long as you only watch and
read.
